Introducing Jim Andrews, VP Sales
NOTE: Jim joined Team Sensu on__ May 1, 2017__, in the middle of a period of rapid headcount growth. This belated announcement is one in a series to catch up on introducing our new team members to the Sensu Community.
We’re excited to welcome Jim Andrews as the newest member of the Sensu Leadership team!
Jim joins us from Jet Reports, where he built an enterprise sales organization from the ground up and helped scale the business — the very same efforts he will lead at Sensu. Jim brings 23 years of sales experience to Team Sensu — including 10 years of sales leadership experience — and will benefit Sensu users who are interested in upgrading to Sensu Enterprise by helping find solutions for every budget (seriously, I never knew how bad I was at this as Sensu’s original sales person until I saw him in action).

Jim will be working from his hometown of Portland, Oregon, where he was born and raised, and where he currently lives with his wife and two young daughters. Jim enjoys spending time with his family, and coaching his daughters’ softball and basketball teams. He also has a bit of the travel bug; trips across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and in particular to destinations like India and Bali have given him a unique perspective and appreciation for diverse cultures.

Jim’s arrival at Sensu is a major milestone for the company, giving us a bona fide expert in software sales and pricing. His background and expertise will help us deliver the Sensu platform to customers looking for a great way to automate their monitoring infrastructure.
