Announcing the 2018 Sensu Summit

The second annual Sensu user conference will be held this August 22–23 in Portland, Oregon.

It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly an entire year since we announced the inaugural Sensu Summit, which ended up being an even bigger success than we had hoped! Close to 100 people gathered in the historic Portland Art Museum over two action-packed days of presentations and workshops. And we all benefited! As a company, we gained invaluable feedback from our customers and community, and we received many comments from Sensu users on how beneficial it was to meet fellow users and Sensu experts, all while great talks were going on.

But a LOT has happened since then. The Sensu family continues to grow — Sensu, Inc. is now 25 employees and counting, and the Sensu Community is expanding by leaps and bounds every month. The software has seen some major milestones, as well — the “Sensu 2.0” project has been open sourced, and is rapidly approaching a “beta” release milestone, with a GA release just over the horizon. So many great reasons to reconvene at the Portland Art Museum to pick up where we left off last year.

Agenda

The 2018 Sensu Summit will follow a similar agenda as last year’s event, plus an entire day dedicated to advisory discussions with Sensu users:

• Day 0: Advisory Boards. Customer Advisory Board (CAB) and Technical Advisory Board (TAB) meetings with Team Sensu — by invitation only.
• Day 1: User Conference. Single-track conference featuring user stories, partner presentations, tech talks from the Sensu Core team and plenty of time for hallway conversations. Oh, and an after-party!
• Day 2: Community Unconference. A full day of community-organized activities, including lightning talks, demos, workshops, and more!

As a user-centric conference, we can’t tell the entire story about what will unfold at the 2018 Sensu Summit without YOU.
